I tried searching thru RevitCity for some previous threads on this subject but I couldn't find one that had the same error, if you do find one please forgive this thread and link it. Smile

I have a detail family that is basically a masking region which I load into a face-based lighting fixture. On my reflected ceiling plan, it shows up just fine. When I add another masking region family that has a solid fill (black) to it and load that into my lighting fixture, that shows up just fine. However, when I load the fixture family and place it into my project, the solid fill is completely ignored. I tried some other suggestions I found here in RC such as making a dense line pattern but when it comes into the project, that also gets ignored.

Any help on this disappearing solid fill?

Is there a hatch type in the project with the same name?

Check your visibility graphics to make sure that detail items are visible.

Detail items are visible. Check.

Its the solid fill (black) filled region that is not showing up when loaded into the project. I can hatch it with a different pattern and that shows up but its as if anything that is close to solid black shows up as white. That is what I'm trying to figure out.
