What is the best method for creating movable/demountable walls for commercial buildings? I would think that creating a family (similar to a systems furniture family) would be the best, but our office is concerned with increasing the file size too much. Any suggestions, comments, or ideas? Also, if anyone has created any movable wall families and would like to share, please do....

Thanks!

If you need to schedule components then you are correct but otherwise, you can just use a wall with a vertical hatch pattern that matches your panel spacing.

Because of the difficulty with doors and windows, I would probably still do this with walls.  Wall 1 ... 4' panels... place it in 4' increments and schedule number of panels by dividing length of wall/4'... DO for other panel sizes.
