I am looking for a nice looking rod iron fencing or railing. Is there anybody who can help me out?

Take a look at the railing samples at this Autodesk site:
http://revit.autodesk.com/library/html/index.html Look under Revit samples
There may be something close to what you need that you can use as-is or modify to your liking.

Thanks for your reply. When I tried to open the Revit Smaples files I was told that the files were saved in a later version and cannot be retrieved. Do you have any ideas why it says this?

Because they are in a later version than what you are using.
The current Revit version is 8.1 and since we are all on subscription that is the version you should be using.

There are archived libraries on the content distribution center, so if you are using a earlier version of revit you can find that sample for 6.0, 7.0 and 8.0.

The railing and stair samples were posted in version 6.0 after the Autodesk University class were they were used in to introduce 6.0 features. I believe they are still in 6.0 format.
