I found problem using edit cut profile tool.
Everything is OK when I use it in plan view, but in the case of using plan region with different range of cut plane my edit cut profile just doesn’t work it turns green and report some error.
I’m using Revit 8 build 20050620_2300 demo version and I’m in learning phase of this nice software which should replace our 2 ADT 2006 in my office.

Ends of the sketched loop do not lie on the boundary of the face being modified.
But I did sketch properely.

What are you trying to create with the edit cut profile?

What are you trying to show?
The cut profile you've drawn isn't even cutting the wall, or have you done this to show what you want to happen? Please explain...

Forget my stupidity, I had some problems with one wall join and wanted to alter its shape. Now everything is OK.
My mistake!
