I am making plumbing drawings and the mains appear on plan as a big black mess.  It's a bundle consisting of cold water, sanitary, vent, etc.  The pipes are modelled running parallel together about 1" apart.  The city plans examiner is going to have a hard time determining what pipes are depicted.  How do you guys deal with this problem? And what about pipes that run together overtop of each other?
