I'm new in using Revit and can not find a way to create a niche in a wall.

Hope your help.

Thanks for your care!

You could do an in-place wall void or create a wall hosted niche family that has a void in it to cut the host

Thank for your tip

I thought the same way but it didn't show as i wished until I found out that after placing void in the wall family, you need to use cut geometry. Some experiences for ones who may run into the same matter.

But I face another matter: the wall niche created by using void don't have material like the walls enclose it, it receives material as structure material of the host wall.

Could you tell me how to get a finished material for the wall niche as the host's?

Or more accurately, include the finish structure in the family model...
