I'm trying to a void throughout a dome-like revolve solid, but as soon as I finish the sketch I get a message saying that 'Can't keep elements joined.'At this point the option I get is to 'Unjoin elements'; same thing happens if I use the 'Cut Geometry'. I've tried changing the "profile sketch" on my revolve and noticed the problems only happens when the arc segment to generate the "dome" is introduced. Can Revit cut voids throughout dome-like revolve? Is this a Revit limitation?
