My Wish for Christmas...

Revit & Excel allowing some dynamic linking between the two programs.

Or

Add Color Schemes to Revit Schedules. So my Room schedule have background colors that match with the schematic plans.

You might try out the new DBlink that is in the Revit add-ons for 2010.  I've not looked into them yet.
