I'm trying to save a version of a project so that I could go back to this stage if necessary. However everything has been broken into worksets and I can't find a way to save a file so that it doesn't want to reload or save to central every time I open or close it. Any suggestions?

In 8.1 open the file with the "detach from central" option.
