Ok, Im having some problems with material take off schedules.

Firstly I went round and tagged all my walls within my project and then went to make a material take off schedule. The problem that I'm having is that there is alot more walls/materials showing up than there should be, anyone experience this problem or know how to sort it?

Regards,

Well the first thing that I can tell you as with all schedules you can filter by any field that you have in your schedule. Just set the field value under filter, and give it the criteria for how you want the quantity take-off to look. Now you can create multiple qto's of different wall types just by changing up your filter critera. Also, one thing to keep in mind is just because you filter by a parameter doesn't mean that parameter has to be in that quo/schedule. You can make it hidden by going in and hiding it.

Hope that is what your looking for.

I will add that if it is in the schedule, then it is in the model.  Make sure your schedule is setup for just what you want and if something else is there, then either your filter is not right or you have something in your project that you are not aware of.
