I'm currently working on attempting to model a foundation for a very large milling machine. The foundation is deep (18' of solid concrete and rebar), and has many embed depressions for attaching the machine. My question is, how would I go about creating these minimal areas of depressions? For example, I need to make a void that is 10"x10"x2'-0" deep. Does anyone have a good method for modeling something like that?

I've setup a face based void family that is parametric. This cuts the recess into the foundation/floor.
