I am working on a drawing with a complicated roof structure the roof is mono-pitched but also falls from front to back as well as one side to another. I am trying to attach a gutter to this roof however it will not work, when I select add gutter the arrow will not recognise this roof however I am able to put gutters on the simpler roofs in the drawing. Is there anything I should do or check to help with this problem.

Any help is welcome thankyou.

 J.Lunny.

You create that roof by "Extrusion"??? can you put some images about that roof and where do you want to apply the Gutters...?

Create the gutter profile as a fascia, and apply with the fascia tool.  Gutters can only be placed on horizontal roof edges...
