I have built an entire model in Revit and when it exports into 3D max it appears that the materials applied in max are having scaling issues. Is this because I created scaled materials in Revit when we were trying to render the project in Revit?

possibly, i would just remap them in max, you have more control there anyway.

We recently imported a Revit 2010 model into 3DS Max via a .fbx export.  Max crashes shortly into rendering.  Does anyone have a dumbed down step by step guide for easy revit to max rendering?

To clarify my last post with more info..

The model is a set of walls, columns, and railings that we set up to test materials.  The materials are custom and manipulated in Revit.  We don't know a whole lot about 3DS Max so we would prefer not to mess with materials in Max if possible.

I think you want to make sure you have the newest .fbx importer file from autodesk. I'm not sure if this is causing your problem but, it's the first thing that pops in my head without digging.

Hope this helps.
