I am trying to show a stone wall and have assigned a surface pattern. However, this pattern shows up on elevations, section and on the dynamic 3d view but when I make a camera view the wall shows as black with no surface pattern showing the stones. How can I make the pattern show up in these views too?
Pls help!

Chances are the black that you are seeing in the views is the surface pattern, but you are so far back in the view it all blends to black. Try zooming in to verify. You may need to adjust the scale of the pattern, the scale of the view or both to get it to suite your needs. Also remember that the surface pattern you see can be a model or drafting pattern. Model patterns are real world dimensions and drafting patterns adjust to the scale of the view. If you are going to render the view, then the surface pattern won't be used anyway but rather the material definition.
