I accidentally created contours for a site plan on view 1, It took me about 4hrs due to the complexity of the site so I rather not do it again, is there a way i can take the lines I did on level 1 and move them to the site view? keep in mind there is a building i want to keep on level 1 so changing view names will not work. I tried copy and paste but it did not seem to work.

Not sure what you are asking. Are these detail lines, model lines or are they really model contours? All model elements exist in every view where the view range is correct and they are on in VG. All detail lines can be transferred from view to view.
