Hi I am working on a project that has a stacked wall.  Brick at the bottom and wood siding at the top.  I would duplicate the stacked wall in the imperial template and just change the materials but I'm not sure where to go to find or load siding so I can choose it as a type.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks.

If you don't see the material siding, then you will have to create it using the appropriate material.  Most of use do not use a modeled shiplap siding and let the material setting show it correctly when rendered.

I saw in a file where I had previously used a siding wall the structure of the wall was listed as 6", and the material was listed as Finishes: siding / clapboard.  Does this mean it was a 3-D "finish" and not actually a structural siding?  I guess as long as it looks correct on my 3-D's and my walls schedule correctly it doesn't matter right?

Right.... the wall thickness includes siding in the definition - the material renders correctly in 3D but in 2D views, it is represented as simple hatch pattern - parallel lines.

Can I copy the Finishes: Siding/Clapboard from the drawing its in to somewhere in Revit 2010 so I can use it on the stacked wall I am trying to create?  Where do I copy the "Finishes" from in the program and where do I paste it in Revit 2010 to use on my walls?
