I am using Revit Structural 2010 and in one of my models I have a linked model. When I dimension this part of the model (the linked features) all seems fine. But when others open their models they have to delete my dimensions to open. My local model has this linked file, and their models actually turn into the Central Model when I try to link theirs tom my file model.

You have some serious problems.  No file can turn into a central unless you do it.  And nobody should be working in a central.

When you say " they", is they someone in your office or elsewhere?  Who has the link and where does it reside?

We have Architectural who set up the Central model and the Local Files. When I link any one of the Arch models to my model, it calls itself Central Model, not their own local file name (no matter who's I bring in). It was set up by them (they). I agree no one should be working in it. I would normally have my own local file to work on but due to these complications I had to create a seperate model, then link it into my local file.

Your posts sounds like you do not understand the central/local file process.  To better understand this, refer to your HELP.
