I have created a new stair - but it only shows up in my plans - not sections or 3d. I've checked VG in all views - stairs are set to be visible. I've also checked that the stairs are created in "existing" and VP is set to "show existing". Is there something that I am missing?

Did you see if it was just hidden? try the reveal hidden elements.

yeah - they don't show up as hidden either... I shut down and restarted - no dice

You have turned them off someway. Could they be in a different phase?... A design option that is off? You have made sure they are on in VG? This is a normal Revit stair - not a mass?

thanks - it has something to do with phase filters.... if I change the filter to "none" they show up. I will just have to figure out how better to set up existing/demo/new phases....
