i am trying to embed a inclined beam ( that of a staircase) inside a wall. but once i do it and i use join geometry , it cuts the beam instead of wall. it also doesnt allow cut geometry. why so?

do i need to edit profile of the wall to acoomodate the beam. tht is a not so convienient workaround.

If you need it modeled, then model it like you would build it.
