I have placed a windows in 3d view that are identical to windows placed in plan view. The ones placed in 3d do not have tags when viewed in plan. I am fairly certain this cannot be anything related to cut planes. Does anyone have any idea what else might cause this? Thanks.

Did you tag them? Automatic tagging only occurs when the window is placed in plan view.

I was just checking to see if that was just the regular behavior of the program so I'd know there wasn't something else going on. I now see that the tagging option only pops up when in plan view. That's all I needed to know. Thanks for the answer. (Working in Revit 2010)

I like to use Tag by Category. This will allow you to tag all windows or doors at the same time.
