Hi all, I am struggling to export my revit drawings so that our standard layer/level sytem can be automatically incorporated within the final output file during the export process. For example, i want elements of the Category 'Walls' to convert to layer name 'A-G251-Wall' in the dwg file. I've spent some time changing each and every layer assignment within the 'export layers' properties box and saved that, but for some reason the levels simply do not appear correctly when in autocad or microstation... (we are in fact using microstation however i have tried with both). Any thoughts??

okay i think i've found out what i did wrong... i initially used the setting 'Category properties BYLAYER, overrides BYENTITY'... changing this to 'All properties BYLAYER, no overides' allows the layer to export correctly.
