Good morning!

My situation is as follows: I'm working on a project for a new church. The sanctuary is going to seat 300 people, but the owner would like to leave room for expansion to allow a maximum seating of 500 should they want to expand. I spent a few days creating a design and a few more days creating a model in Revit.

There's just one problem. I want to now go back and show a "phase two" floor plan that shows the expanded sancutary and additional seating. However, I modeled the entire "phase one" plan in the "New Construction" phase filter. To my knowledge, I'm now going to have to go back and select every object, change its "phase created" to "Existing" (along with my existing floor plans, sections and elevations) before I can create a "phase two" plan.

Is there an easier way to go back and add phasing to an existing model? Or am I stuck selecting all my objects one by one and changing their phases manually? Any feedback would be greatly appriciated. I'm using Revit 2009.

Under settings - phases... If you have an existing and not using it, delete it or rename it to something else...

Then change the name of New construction to existing ... everything is now on existing - add a new "New Construction"

Wow, I had no idea it was that simple. Thanks!
