I am using Revit 2010. I have modeled wood siding on the wall using sweeps under the edit assembly dialog for the wall. The problem I am having is that the top of the wall is at an angle, however the sweeps do not cut at that angle. Instead the line of the sweep stops where it runs into the sloped top of the wall and cuts the sweep perpendicular. Is there a way to cut the wall sweep in line with the angle of the top of the wall? I've included an image of the of the problem where the siding, because it is cutting this way, is sticking through my roof assembly. As well as an image without the roof. Thanks!

What you have included as images and description are very hard to follow. That being said - wall sweeps don't work well for items like this for just the reason you are describing. In addition, most people will not model items like lap siding. No reason to since they will render correctly with a material application and elevations work fine with simple wall pattern. If you must model this, look a one in place sweep or extrusion that forms all of the siding at once combined with a void to cut the ridge angle. Here is what I posted for a similar problem.

Ah, thank you. Yes, sorry about the images. I exported the wrong view apparently but you got the point I was making. And yes, I need to actually physically model the siding.

It can be done with a wall hosted void family. The void needs to match the pitch of the roof so it should not be done until the end of the design process. The void can have instance parameters so that it can be manipulated within the project. I am using revit LT so the process is likely simpler with the full version's ability to edit familys in-place.
