Hello, I am trying to create an adjustable plan symbol of an elevator. I was able to do so with some success. I can specify the width and length in the properties box, which is pretty good, BUT I want to be able to use the align tool to adjust those parameters on the fly as well. What am I missing??? Where did I go wrong??? I have attached the file if you want to look. thanks in advance

Try making the reference planes at the left (is reference:left), right (is reference:right), back (is reference:back) plane at offset (is reference:front). You may also want to add an equality constraint on the door opening so it is always centered, or if there is an offset it is from the center. HTH Tom

Thanks! That did the trick. Obviously, I still have a lot to learn. I have training coming up later this week, but until then it is nice to know that total strangers are willing to help out. peace.
