Are there scale options for fill patterns.  I have a gravel base fill pattern as part of my slab on grade.  Looks fine at 1/8":12" scale.  But when I go to modify the section to 1:12, the gravel turns into what looks more like pebbles.

I know that I can save a fill for each scale, but this could end up being really cumbersom if I have multiple sections through the same families of varying scales.  Any suggestions?

The best example I have is brick.  I want a standard brick to scale appropriately regardless of my view scale.

Read your revit HELP on Fill paterns and you will see there are two types.  Model and drafting.  Drafting patterns always print the same no matter what the model scale.  Model patterns will scale with the view.  The choice is yours when you assign the pattern to a material or a fill.

Thanks for the reply.  I cannot believe I did not see that earlier.  So you have answered my question for annotated filled region.

Now I have another.  When I edit a family and edit the structure.  I am unable to apply a "model" fill to the materials inside the family.  Is there a way to apply model fills to the family materials from within the edit screen.  See attached pic.

Thanks.

Cut patterns are considered to be 2d patterns.
