I am trying set a pendant light's height above finish floor, but when I create the parameter dimension from the bottom of the light fixture to the reference plane at 0'-0", it doesn't hold in the model (it seems to infer height from teh distance from teh ceiling). Is there any way to create a parameter for A.F.F. in a ceiling base fixture? This is especially troublesome for sloped ceilings.

Ceiling lights only relate to the ceiling - sorry.

If you have the pendent hanging depth as an instance parameter and you place a line in a section view, you can drag those lights down to the line for those sloped ceiling locations. You actually should be able to align them.  Remember to turn off always vertical on those pendents!
