Im using Revit Architecture 2010.

The proplem I am having is to create new interior elevation.

The view that I like to place new elevation tag is a enlarged callout from a main plan.

For whatever reason, "Elevation" command is grayed out in view tab -> create. The only place where I can create a new elevation is in the main plan. But if I place a elevation tag in the main plan, the tag won't appear in the callout view. I have cheched the visibility and elevation is checked.

Please help me.

Thank you.

Callouts have two differnt settings... floor plan and detail.  Sub callouts - sections - elevations made in detail views will not show in parent plans.

I see that now.

The next question is can I change the "detail callout" to "floor plan callout"?

No... but any annotative (2D) elements you added in the view you have can be copied and pasted same place in a new floor plan view - nothing lost.

Great.

Not much damage done. That's good news.

Thank you very much.
