I needed to create a railing with chainlink infill, so i created a tall slender rail profile and specified the material as chainlink. It all works out except that when I attempt to render it, two overlapping and offset patterns appear due to the fact the it has a cutout pattern and revit has applied the material to both sides of my panel. Is there a way to get around this, perhaps to make the patterns align? Perhaps there is a totally different way to approach chainlink and get better results. I am going to try making a glass panel totally transparent and non-reflective and then painting the side I want to render...

For anyone who may search this topic later, I had success with simply creating a totally transparent material (based on glass and titled invisible) and painting one side of it with the chainlink material.
