Hoping someone can help me out, i have some .DWG details that i have linked into drafting views. when the .DWG files are brought into revit this way they are very light. if i just link them directly onto a sheet the pen weights are fine. i have tried everything i can think of and am having no luck. the files are drawn in paperspace in the dwg so they are brought in as 12"=1'.

 i would greatly appreciate any suggestions you might have.

Thanks;

Cvanmeter

First suggestion... don't do that.  Linked CAD files will get you in trouble.  They will really bog you down over time.

Everything in REVIT is controlled through VG settings.  Whether at the project level or the view.  At the project level - Look under Settings/Object styles Imported... and when you expand, you will find your layer names andassociated pen / linetype settings.  Similar settins in views (VG) and families.
