Please HELP me create a REVOLVED form in the mass editing mode ......this new interface of the 2010 version is a hell of mess ...It's tedious finding the tools and learning all about the new Interface...

in the MODEL IN PPLACE MASS tab there is no SOLID REVOLVE botton !!!!  and when I sellect modle lines and click CREAT FORM botton from the FORM panle, it results in extrusione only ...!!!!!! 

so how do I make a revolve or sweep ...... help please

The new "Model-in-place" in 2010 is in "Home>Component>Model-in-place" the rest is the same like in 2009....

to revolve you just draw your profile and an axis and then create form. pretty simple... the tools are on the main interface.Edited on: Thu, Oct 22, 2009 at 12:18:31 PM

but when I do such athing it only results in extrusion ......how can I make revit understand what method of forming do I want ...

the axis of the revolve has to be a seperate entity, sounds like revit is thinking your oultine is a closed loop for extrusion. extent the lines of the axis beyond the revolve profile.

"but when I do such athing it only results in extrusion ......" - I think you are "Joining" the "endpoints" of the Profile with the "endpoints" of the Axis.....
