Hi

I am trying to create a room schedule to replicate our existing style. (please see attached)

In revit i label my rooms, sales, off sales etc as per the names in the schedule. I cannot find a way to order the schedule to match our existing, where each room is listed above, so that i can get running totals for total sales, total stock etc, and then get a total for the whole lot.

 Any help much appreciated!

Your image size was probably too large to be attached.

You will not be able to produce what you want.  One of the things we have all learned with REVIT it that we have to modify some of our standards if you want to use all of the automatic features.

Before you complain about that, what did you do in CAD to create this schedule? You did it all with text and lines and it was a dumb schedule.  Either do that in REVIT or use Revit's rules and change your standard.

that's fair anough, we have come to accept a lot, but i have also found many workarounds......yet to find a good one on this.

Best i have come up with is having a seperate schedule for each, i.e sales, stock, off sales....each with a toal at the bottom, another schedule for the over all total, hiding all the other fields.

Only problem with this, is on a floor with no sales (1st floor) the total doesnt sit inline with the other floors, to get around this i have created a room with less than .5m2 so that it shcedules as 0 (because of my units)

Is there a way of doing balnk rows and putting 0 in? or if a floor doesn't have any stock, to put 0?

Thanks
