I'm trying to develop a site plan for a project I'm doing in Revit.  Rather than use the CAD file and print it, then hand render it, I'm trying to solve it all in the program.  Currently I am importing the CAD file and tracing the lines in Revit.  I'm wondering how I can actually model the site (Mainly because there is underground parking beneath the structure) and add physical materials to it, such as pavers, concrete, planters etc.  If anyone knows an easy way to begin doing this or lead me to a resource that can explain it to me that would be greatly appreciated!

you can create a topo site from your cad file if it is a civil 3d file, then you can split the face of your topo to apply differnet materials for drives and such. look in your help menu or on the forums under creating topos

Thanks, I've found a few tutorials explaining how to use topo / pads etc.  Also, is if I have underground parking beneath my building, would using topo be the best option, or is there any other type of way to do this?

never done underground parking but i dont think a topo is the way to do that at all, you may just want to build the underground parking below your topo using a floor slab and some concrete walls. all just depends on what you need to do with it.
