Hi all,
Are there any decent training dvd sets on the market I could purchase that will teach me Revit from the ground up.
Especially from an architects perspective and not some academic who has never designed and constructed a building?

I actually found the standard tutorials that come with Revit to be extremely helpful & intuitive...if you take the time to go through them without skipping steps. They will certainly teach you the basics very well.

Try the DG CAD videos at www.dgcad.com. I have found them very useful.

I purchased these a few weeks back and have found them well worth the money. Although I purchased the DVD's, I didn't want to wait for their arrival, so I also downloaded them for the $9.95 subscription fee.
