Hi all,

I am working in RVT2010 and trying to create a wall mounted (stair dependent) railing in a firestair where the outside rails are mounted to the wall (instead of to a baluster and stringer).  I cannot find a railing family (don't know where to look, perhaps) that does not include a baluster.  How do I turn off the baluster or where can I find/load a railing that does not include a balluster?

Nevermind. I figured it out.

For those of you having the same problem:

• Go to the Element Options (having selected/highlighted your railing you created)
• Edit Type
• Hit 'EDIT' for 'Baluster Placement'  
• Under the 'Baluster Family' column, selected 'NONE' for the 'Regular Baluster' row

This will solve the problem and get rid of the baluster.

Hope that makes someone's life a little easier...
