I need to create a totally new project from and existing one.
Is there a simple way to transfer ALL data and give it a new project name?

Provided the project is not a central project, simply open the current project and do a "save as" or copy using Windows to new location and rename.
If the project is a central project, then it depends on what version you are using. If worksetted and central in 8.0 or less, open the central file on the server and do a save as being sure to make a new cental file location for a different project.. If using 8.1 you can experiment with the new detach from central command which I have not played with yet.
If anyone else knows better/easier ways chime in.

Thanks.
Yes it is a central file in 8.0. That's why I was having problems.
We have just received 8.1 and have not installed it yet. Will have to try the new command.
