About an hour after I hit the render button, i come back to the computer to see that the process has moved quite slow. When i pull up the task manager i find out that mental ray was only using 1 core to render, when not 30min prior it was using both cores. Anyone have this happen?

Went at it again this morning and it was indeed using both cores, but after about 25min, it went back to one and i stopped it after 10min of single core usage.

That has got to be an OS issue it sounds like. I don't use Revit for rendering much but as you can see it is using all 8 cores eventho it is not using them at 100%

Well i thought that i had limited it to a single view. But i had another view make it 99% through the rendering and then one of the processors dropped off.

Really weird stuff. I may have to take a look at my processor and see if everything is alright.
