We use material assignment for our floor and ceiling element's "visible face" to differentiate their type, i.e: Vinyl_Barefoot - which export fine to our autocad layer - but we would now like to start differentiating these material types further: Vinyl_Barefoot_Green Vinyl_Barefoot_Red But come export, the colour change (to the surface hatch pattern assigned to each material) doesn't come through - it all ends up on the single layer in autocad. Is there any way to get round this? (We moved away from using color schemes on room types at a very early stage (200 both because of client requirments for quite finite material takeoffs, and because we have lots of "zones in rooms in zones in rooms" that, apart from being a nightmare with the room-seperation tool, make our room schedule control a nightmare.)
