i'm trying to create a template file from a project file i did which was also using workgroups. when i deleted all the content from the file and i went to save it as a template, its grayed out and i cant select it. i've read in previous posts about starting a new one and transfering project standards, but that doesnt copy a lot of things over such as the sheets and the browser setup. has anyone figured out a way to do this yet? Thanks!

Transfer project standards, then use File/Insert from File/ Views to transfer 2d views and sheets.

that works for some things but not exactly what im looking for. if you take a look at the attached image, i set up my browser a certain way, and any sheet that has a view attached to it wont copy over. im assuming thats because the view doesnt exist in the new file. theres no easy way to do this? this is something that should be so simple yet for some strange reason its not
