Check out this screen shot.

you can see two floor areas showing a wooden decking. notcie that one pattern is going in a different direction than the other....these are the same floor types, materials etc.. the pattern is model not drafting. I noticed that if I ROTATE one of the FLOORs itself I can get the patterns to be the same direction. what gives? if the pattern is one direction what is the parameter for it choosing to go the other direction. is it the way one draws a floor?

"......Did you try to find it out?....Look at the image and the arrows, they indicate the direction I took to draw the lines of each floor....For a better reference on this, watch this video: http://revittotd.com/08/682
