I have quite a few different labels created now, but somehow the text positioning is different in all of them.

I like to copy tags around and change them if necessary to pull a different bit of information out of a component.  It gets irritating and adds extra time to manauver the label back into position after it moves with the new lables text position.

Is there any way of making the insertion point the same for them all?

Did you pay close attention to if the text origin is vertically set (top, center or bottom)?

Sometimes I get myself in trouble when I have stacked labels (ie: the titleblock labels such as addresses and titles).

YEAH, I WENT THROUGH THEM ALL AND SET THEM ONE AFTER ANOTHER TO THE MOST APPROPRIATE ONE.  THINKING THAT WHEN I SWITCHED THEM IN THE MODEL THEY WOULD KEEP THE SAME ORIGIN POINT IN THE PROJET, BUT THEY JUMP AROUND DEPENDING ON, I GUESS WHERE THE FAMILY'S 0,0 (FOR LACK OF BETTER TERMS RIGHT NOW) IS.

I THINK TOMORROW I'LL TRY DRAWING A LINE IN ONE OF THEM AND ALIGN IT TO THAT, IF TEXT HAS AN ALIGNEMENT POINT THAT ACCESSABLE, AND THEN COPY-PASTE ALIGNED IN THE OTHER FAMILIES.

SOMETHING TELLS ME THOUGH THERE'S NO WAY TO GRAB AN ALIGNMENT POINT FOR TEXT.

I LOVE/HATE HOW REVIT FORCES INACCURACIES.
