I have had this issue several times. Please see the attached image.

In this case there are 2 roofs joined @ 45 degrees. When I put in the fascia they do not connect, and I cannont manually force them to connect. The roofs join fine, but I can't find a way to join the fasca's.

I have tried both doing them as a single fascia and as 2 different ones, but I cannot make it work.

Frustrating!

The reason being your 2 facias are of different height. Try to model a sweep instead for the horizontal facia and use "join" to attach it to the diagonal facia.

Thanks for the response mhans. I will keep this in mind for future reference, however the fascia's I'm trying to connect are the same height.

I resolved the problem, the issue is that the fascia won't extend past the original footprint of the roof before it was joined. I had to go back and modify the roof footprint to meet at the corner, then I was able to extend the fascia.
