Hello everyone,

I recently upgraded to revit arch, 2010 and I cannot load any doors or windows that are not the default ones. Every time I try to lead a family of say "double hung window" I get a big fat error that reads: "The family is not of the correct category" and I cannot load anything.

This seems to happen to only doors and windows and with families original to revit and downloaded families as well.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Revit 2010 and I keep getting the same error, furthermore, I installed revit 2009 again and now I get the same error in revit 2009 as well.

Anyone has any clue on what this might be?

Is this problem in a single project that you upgraded or in all projects?

is actually a sort of a global issue, I tried creating new projects on both Revit 09 and Revit 2010 and I get the same error everytime I try to load windows or doors
