I had a problem with one on my machines obtaining a license from the Network server on 2010. They were able to work on 2009. The PC would connect to the server, but would not obtain a license. Through many trials and tribulations it was discovered that if we turn off the IPv6 function and only used the IPv4 that it started to work properly. I just thought that I would post this to see if it helps someone else.
