Does anybody know why this might be happening? (see attached jpg) Version 8.0. Decal has a white transparent mask so you can see the object behind through parts of the logo where there is white. Any ideas

Figured it out. I had masked color as transparent also. Unchecking this fixed it.....

Hi: I know that this has no relation with your question, but I have to ask... I am trying to get a similar stone as the one you have in the image you attached. Could you tell me what render settings did you use to achieve this stone? Is this stone in Revit library? I would be so grateful if you can help me with this issue. Thanks in advance.

sure, no prob. The stone sample was taken from CulturedStone's Stone Cad program. If you dont have it yet, you really should try to get it. They have quite a few good tile-able jpgs that you can use to render. Best of all they are provided by the actual stone manufacturer giving you ability to specify exactly which stone it is. Here's a link: http://www.culturedstone.com/technical/stonecad.asp Also attached is the jpg used in my render. Supposedly a 4' x 4' sample. Tweek to your needs. I just put on a bit of bump to the image map, and sandpaper. Revits selection is pretty weak, forcing most to look elsewhere.

Thank you very much parleyburnett and tomdinmn. I am taking a look at the web pages you two have indicated, they seem very interesting. And tomorrow morning, I am going to use this texture, I think it's the one I need. Thanks again.
