I'm a self taught Revit user and my weak link right now is the creation of advanced parametric families.  Any advice on where I can get some self directed training for these?

Mr.Spot posted a great tutorial on creating a parametric louvered window.

A co-worker went through the 'Autodesk Revit Building 8.1 Tutorials' and he said there was a helpful section on parametric families (see attached). I've yet to have a read through, but it's worth a shot.
