Hi guys,

Got a general question about furniture. It seems like when I perform a render, 1 my imported 3d cad files illuminated or gives of a glow that affects walls, ceilings and other furniture close by.

Pic attached.

Checked that Illuminocity is 0, Got no idea.

Check the material properties you have in that furniture...

They're not glowing, they're reflecting.  The lighting levels that you have are quite high.  The attached image shows a render with very bright lights to illustrate the effect on the ceiling of different colour floors, but the same effect can be noticed with lower lighting levels.  This happens in real life also where lights shining on an object will change the colour of surrounding surfaces.

Yeah this makes sense as I just added a light into the lamp and everything jus got brighter.

Thanks for the responses guys, not back til monday, il post the results!
