Has anyone tried running running Revit MEP on a lap top?  The Architect on a project we are working on sits in our coordination meetings with his lap top and makes changes remotely through VPN.  I still have to go back home and make the discussed changes in Revit.  I am a mechanical person so my model gets very ram intensive when I am in 3D view of the building.  If anyone is running MEP on a lap top, what are the specs?  Any suggestions?   We were thinking of getting one to share for the office so we can take it to meetings.  Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya unless you have a hard line to connect to with the vpn, i dont suggest this at all. you are very right and depending on your job this could be more of a hassle than anything else. i will recommend a mobile workstation from HP 8710 works very well, 9440 is an older version, or one of the new elite books is very nice too.
