I've created a custom light fixture using the ceiling based ligtht fixture template and I keep getting the error message "can't use this type in this host" when trying to place it in my model. Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

This family hosted fine on my ceiling. NOTE - YOU MUST HAVE A CEILING !. Set the ceiling ref plane in your family to defines origin. Yor family presently hosts above the ceiling.
