New to revit and trying to tag my slabs. We usually place a hexagon and nominate slab thickness and setdown for each different slab component. I haven't found any tags that will allow me to do this. Can anyone tell me if we can do this out of box or how to build a tag to do this please?

You can not create a tag in Revit that reads a thickness. That is true for all elements. But it can read a type parameter that you set. The stock architectural tag reads the "Type name" So you could place your value there or change your tag to read a differnt parameter (s) .
