I'm looking for a way to change or update all the materials in my materials list with one specific rendering apperance. What I'm trying to achieve is being able to do renderings with everything but glass to have a mat white finish. Sorry if this has been asked before, trying to do this pretty quick and didn't find anything in my first 5 minutes of looking.

I don't think you will find anything in Revit ... might be able to in a Render program. You could go into the VG and over-ride everything there by category.
